Marcello Tavernari has experience in roadway design, drainage design, stormwater watershed modeling, utility design, utility relocations, project management, construction management, bid/award management, local agency management, and contract management experience.
Before joining Bayer United, Marcello grew progressively in responsibility from a senior design engineer at a local city, to the Public Works Director / County Engineer overseeing multiple divisions and staff.
Marcello’s project experience includes minor roadway reconstruction projects such as resurfacing and reconstruction using FDR/CIR to minor design projects that include intersection improvements, resurfacing, drainage conveyance systems, boat ramps, sidewalks, private site development, and trail projects. These projects involve safety improvements, drainage improvements, utility relocations, signing and pavement marking, structures, geotechnical, environmental impacts, permitting, traffic control, specifications, quality control, and post-design services.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering specializing in water resources from the University of Florida. In his free time, Marcello enjoys camping, boating, motorcycles, and spending time outdoors with his awesome family.
