Mark Bayer has 17 years of roadway design, maintenance of traffic design, drainage design, utility coordination, project management and contract management experience.  Mark’s project experience includes major roadway reconstruction projects such as widening from two-lanes to four-lanes to minor design project that include intersection improvements, resurfacing, sidewalks and trail projects. These projects involve safety improvements, drainage improvements, signing and pavement marking, signalization, lighting, structures, geotechnical, environmental impacts, permitting, traffic control, specifications, quality control and post design services. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Central Florida. In his free time he enjoys traveling, boating, fishing and spending time with his family.

Sarah Wright, PE
Roadway Group Manager, Project Manager

Sarah Wright has eight years of experience in all phases of roadway design projects and has been Project Manager on multiple FDOT projects the past two years. Her project experience includes rural and urban roadway reconstruction, interstate reconstruction, roundabout design, shared use path design, milling and resurfacing, and intersection improvements. These projects involve safety improvements, drainage improvements, signing and pavement marking, signalization, lighting, structures, geotechnical, environmental impacts, permitting, traffic control, specifications, quality control and post design services. Sarah also has extensive knowledge in 3D modeling, and has developed models on multiple projects of varying complexity. Sarah graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. She is a Florida native and in her free time Sarah enjoys playing water polo or beach volleyball and exploring local places in the Tampa Bay Area.

Established in 2019 - 1 Year Anniversary Reflection

As countless people struggle through these difficult times so too have we. Bayer United has been up mountains and through valleys and have experienced amazing testimonies along the way. We have been richly blessed with good friends and work opportunities. Standing firm! Matthew 7:24-25 

As a Tampa native, Sarah’s career has revolved around water’s influence on natural systems that are unique to the Florida environment. She graduated from the University of South Florida where she focused her studies in Water Resources and received her B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Prior to consulting, Sarah worked for the Southwest Florida Water Management District where she helped to uphold and enforce environmental permitting. As a professional engineer and design consultant, Sarah has served local and regional municipalities, as well as the FDOT by providing drainage design services and includes RRR and minor design enhancements to major roadway widening and reconstruction projects. She has assisted with several out-of-state projects and is proficient in all areas of stormwater and floodplain design and analysis, 3D corridor modeling and plans production. Sarah enjoys serving as the Volunteer and Community Outreach chair for her local ITE chapter and exploring Florida with her husband, John, and their dog, Molly.
